HBOS is the result of a merger between Halifax and Bank of Scotland, two leaders in the financial services industry. Our business is growing and we're now a FTSE top 10 company. With 33 of the biggest names in finance under our umbrella, we're a driving force in everything from credit cards to loans, and insurance to corporate banking.
We have a substantial customer base of over 22 million customers who we provide services to through a number of distribution channels ranging from branches and intermediaries to direct mail, telephone and internet services.
Our Retail division is a key part in this continued growth, developing and selling a range of multi-branded products including mortgages, savings, bank accounts, personal loans and credit cards. We are the largest provider of mortgages and savings in the UK and our products appeared over 3,000 times in the best buy tables last year!
Our Product areas are based in Halifax, Leeds, Cardiff, Dunfermline and Chester. We also have opportunities for flexible working from our London base.
